2 Step Standard | 5 | 5 |
2 Step Elite | Unlimited | Unlimited |
How position size interacts with this rule
Position size is capped at 2% of your portfolio per trade.
If your account type allows 5 open positions, you could theoretically hold 5 separate trades of 2% each (totaling 10% exposure) across different coins at the same time.
You can distribute these positions however you like, as long as each one respects the 2% rule.
Key notes
The limit applies per account, not per instrument.
Pending (unfilled) orders do not count toward your open position total until they are executed.
Unlimited position accounts still need to follow the 2% per trade rule.
Pro Tip:
For accounts with the 5-position cap, plan your portfolio so that you balance diversification (different coins) and conviction (your best setups). This helps avoid wasting slots on low-quality trades.
